The Loaf or the Lamp
This is a performative investigation of the poem Farstu (eng. vestibule) by Swedish poet Erik Beckman. Through repetitions, music and physical experiments an actor and two musicians deconstruct the poem, trying to figure out what it is about. They find a world of conflicts and arguments between ideas and ideologies that seem incompatible. But are they really? Isn’t there something to gain from viewing differences as a platform for dialogue rather than controversy?
