The Price of Everything
A play by Tora von Platen, based on a book of poetry by the Swedish writer/poet Sonja Åkesson titled Price, and published in 1967. The performance elaborates on the theme of how media influences our sense of identity. It was made in collaboration with four teenagers. Their reflections and discussions, as well as their own poetry, were presented through video and interwoven with the live performance by an actor.
